Flashtasia
The idea is this: a short film along the lines as the old Disney film, Fantasia in which a series of animated sequences are put to music. The end result, a visual combination of animation , sound, and perhaps even a little bit of drama.
- First we choose a song, preferably one contributed by a community member.
- the music is then broken up into pieces or blocks
- participating animators download a block of music and animates whatever they want to that music.
- pieces are assembled and composited into one seamless film
project is open to anyone and everyone despite experience levele. Everyone is welcomed to contribute ideas, concept art, storyboards, and final artwork and animation. You can stick to just backgrounds, you can submit just props and miscellanueous content for scenery and such, or you can take on full charactaer animation or special effects sequences.
