Sneak Peek: ThunderCats

ThunderCats, slated as one of the biggest TV animation premieres of the summer, is coming to Cartoon network this July 29.  The anime styled reboot is has a very modern feel and I have no doubt it will be a big hit amongst the Twighlight/Harry Potter/Justin Bieber generation but how will the new Thundercats measure up against those who grew with the original incarnation. Back when cereal was made with real sugar an it was OK to have cartoon characters die on screen and little cartoon blood from time to time was perfectly ok. Ok so I can deal with Snarf no longer having an actual voice, although as high pitched as it was his ability to speak did server a major role. But why oh why must Chitara trade in her awesome yellow leotard and leg warmers for a pair of Capris pants… that’s just sacrilege.  Ah well, guess well just have to wait and see, enjoy the sneak peek.
